Mrs. Leila Gilliam Barnes Cheatham

Mrs. Cheatham was born November 14, 1923 in Griffin to the late Henry Wilbur and the late Leila Grantland Barnes. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Henry Cheatham in 2000.

Mrs. Cheatham is survived by her 3 wonderful children, Henry, Gilliam and Leila; 7 delightful grandchildren, Anne, Hank, Eleanor, Laura, Leila, Russell and Jesse and 2 curious bright eyed great-grandchildren, Cheney and Quinn.

Funeral services for Mrs. Leila Barnes Cheatham will be held Thursday, July 21, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at St. George’s Episcopal Church. Interment will follow in the Oak Hill Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations be made to Friends of Tibetan Womens Association, P.O. Box 3l307, Santa Fe, New Mexico 87594 in memory of Mrs. Cheatham.
