Martha P Stanley

Mrs. Stanley was born May 2, 1926 in Pike County daughter of the late Marcellius and Leila Perkins. She was a member of the Griffin First Baptist Church for 47 years and a member of the Bethany Sunday School Class. Mrs. Stanley retired from the Department of Army at Fort Giliam and loved doing volunteer work in the Elks Aidmore Auxiliary. She was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, James C. Stanley, Sr. and seven siblings.

Survivors include son & daughter-in-law, James C. Stanley, Jr. (Chuck) and Danae Stanley of Rex; granddaughter, Stephanie Stanley of Griffin and nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Mrs. Martha Perkins Stanley will be held Wednesday, November 23, 20ll at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Haisten McCullough Funeral Home. Rev. Brian McCartney will officiate. Interment will follow in Westwood Gardens. Friends may visit the family on Wednesday from 10 – 11 a.m. at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations be made to the Griffin First Baptist Church, 106 W. Taylor St., Griffin, GA 30223 in memory of Mrs. Stanley.
