Martha C. Woods

Mrs. Woods was born June 12, 1918 in Forsyth, GA, daughter of the late H. Glenn Connally, Sr. and the late Ola Stanley Connally. She was a member of New Lebanon Presbyterian Church in Jasper, GA. Mrs. Woods volunteered at Piedmont Hospital in Atlanta for 5 years and retired after many years with General Electric.

Survivors include her daughter & son-in-law, Grace Woods Walden and her husband Charles of Dawsonville, GA; son & daughter-in-law, John Woods, Jr. and his wife Elizabeth of Cashiers, NC; sister, Mildred B. Rainwater of Griffin; 8 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren and special friend Ken Perry.

Graveside funeral services for Mrs. Martha C. Woods will be held Saturday, January 8, 2011 at 4:00 p.m. in the Oak Hill Cemetery.
