Mary J. Farr

Mrs. Farr was born January 21, 1926 in Lineville, AL, daughter of the late Thad Foster and the late Carrie Latham Foster. She attended Devotie Baptist Church. In addition to her parents Mrs. Farr was preceded in death by her son, David Farr.

Survivors include her husband, Willie Edward Farr of Texas; daughter & son-in-law, Mary Anne & John Powell of Flowery Branch; son & daughter-in-law, Jerry & Karen Farr of Texas; 5 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.

Graveside funeral services for Mrs. Mary J. Farr will be held Wednesday, November 24, 2010 at 3:00 p.m. in Westwood Gardens. Friends may visit the family at the funeral home on Wednesday from 2:00 p.m. until the service hour.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to The Oaks at Limestone, c/o Senior Activities Director, 2560 Flintridge Rd., Gainesville, GA 30501 in memory of Mrs. Farr.
