Mrs. Mary H. Harris Jett

Mrs. Jett was born in Pike County on April 24, 1928, to the late Thomas Judson Harris and Myrtice Harmon Harris. She retired from Dundee Mills Plant #1 and member of New Salem Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Oliver Eugene “Pat” Jett as well as two brothers and two sisters.

Survivors include a son John Jett and his wife Linda of Butts Co.; two daughters Eugenia Strickland of Williamson and Patsy Williams and husband Bobby of Griffin; two sisters Martha Elizabeth Scoggins of Concord and Mildred Harris Brannon of Williamson. Other survivors include twelve grandchildren and eighteen great grandchildren.

Funeral services for Mrs. Mary H. Jett will be conducted on Tuesday March 6, 2012, at 11:00 AM in the Chapel of Haisten McCullough Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Westwood Gardens. The family will receive friends on Monday at the funeral home from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
