Mrs. Mary Ann Papillo Vetere

Mrs. Vetere was born April 3, 1924 in Winooski, Vermont. She was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Mrs. Vetere and her husband moved to Griffin in 1964. She enjoyed her employment at United Cotton Goods and upon retirement interacted with many Griffin families. Her husband, Louis James Vetere preceded her in death.

Survivors include her son, Louis Peter Vetere in St. Louis, MO; brother & sister-in-law, Joseph & Betty Papillo in Tampa, FL and numerous nieces, nephews as well as many loving adoptive families.

A Funeral Mass for Mrs. Vetere will be held Monday, May 16, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Father Dennis Juan will officiate. Interment will follow in the Oak Hill Cemetery. Friends may visit the family on Sunday, May 15, 2011 from 4 – 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
