Mr. Milton Eugene Ritchie

Mr. Ritchie was born March 19, 1933 in Smackover, Arkansas son of the late Milton Hall Ritchie and the late Bertha Rodgers Ritchie. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and a member of the Ringold Baptist Church. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a grandson, Steven Fuller; brothers, Benjamin Ritchie, Harry Ritchie and sisters, Ophila lewis, Teelie Tunnell and Lorecy Clawson.

Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Mattie Hearn Ritchie of Griffin; daughter & son-in-law, Jean & Tim Ledbetter of Williamson; sons & daughters-in-law, Milton Henry & Lynn Ritchie of Griffin, Frankie & Mattie Ritchie of Thomaston; grandchildren, Tony & Laura Ritchie of Villa Rica, Wendy Ritchie, Jennifer Lively and Scott Ritchie all of Griffin and J.J. Ritchie of Florida; great-grandchildren, Carl Eugene Bard Ritchie of Villa Rica, Kadie & Travis Fuller of Griffin; nieces & nephews, John William Smith, Ann Nordemeyer, Jimmy Tunnell, Harriett Ritchie, Sandra Clawson and Ronnie Ritchie all of Arkansas

Funeral services for Mr. Milton Eugene Ritchie will be held Monday, December 12, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. at Ringold Baptist Church. Entombment will follow in the Westwood Mausoleum. Friends may visit the family on Sunday, December 11, 2011 from 4 – 6 p.m. at the funeral home.
