Oscar Lee Ballew Jr.

He was born in Griffin on September 4, 1943 to the late Oscar Lee Ballew, Sr. and Mary Pauline Buchanan Ballew. Mr. Ballew was also preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Bobby Matthews.

Survivors include his wife, Linda Ballew of Jackson, GA; daughters, Paula Shelby (David) of Stockbridge, GA, Tricia West (Allen) of Jackson, GA, Pam Adams (Sara) of Palm Bay, FL; grandchildren, Elizabeth Miller (Josh) of Griffin, Justin and Ben West of Jackson, GA; great-grandchildren, Logan and Jeremiah Miller; sister, Mary Jo Matthews of Zebulon, GA; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, July 18, 2017 from 6:00 until 8:00 pm at Haisten McCullough Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 19, 2017 at 2:00 pm in the chapel of Haisten McCullough Funeral Home. Interment will follow Westwood Gardens.
