Ronald Wade "Shag" Maddox

Mr. Maddox was born November 7, 1952 in Griffin. He was the son of the late Wade and Mary Maddox. He was a veteran of the United States Army.

Survivors include sisters and brother-in-law, Patsy and Johnny Gregory of Griffin, Linda Rogers of Griffin; nephews, Shane Gregory, Johnathan Gregory, Frank Reid Jr., niece and her husband, Tammy and David Butler; great-nieces, Brittany and David Eller, Leah Grace Gregory, Katie Butler, and Emily Butler; great-nephews, David Wayne “DW” Butler Jr. and Robert Reid.

Funeral services for Mr. Ronald Wade “Shag” Maddox will be held on Wednesday, August 10, 2011 at 11:00 AM in the chapel of Haisten McCullough Funeral Home. Pastor Gene Maddox will officiate. Interment will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery. Friends may visit the family on Tuesday evening from 6-8 PM at the funeral home.
