Mrs. Ruby Joyce Polson

Mrs. Polson was born, April 8, 1929 in Atlanta, GA. She was the daughter of the late Elijah Merril Weldon Sr. and Ruby Renfroe Weldon. She retired from Bell South after many years of service.

Survivors include her husband, J.B. Polson; daughter and son-in-law, Johnanne “Jo” and Larry Allen; grandchildren, John Evans, Cammiea Creamer, Clark Evans, Stephen C, Carnes, Melonie Frillman, Michael Amos, and Scott Holbert; 7 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren; sister, Shirley Polson; step-son and his wife, Ricky and Evelyn Polson; adopted children, Carol, Dennis, and Margaret; nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services for Mrs. Ruby Joyce Polson will be held on Wednesday, May 22, 2013 at 11:00 AM in the chapel of Haisten McCullough Funeral Home. Interment will be private. Friends may visit the family on Tuesday, May 21, 2013 from 6-8 PM at the funeral home.
