May 2, 1928 – September 14, 2021
Aggelo Silamianos, age 93, passed away peacefully on September 14, 2021. Beloved wife to the late Michael for 64 years. Cherished mother to Peter (Bette), Georgia (Chuck), Manolis, Maria (Craig), and Bill (Joanne). Adored grandmother to Lisa, Michael, Nicholas, Kristyn, Tony, Christopher, Melissa, Dylan, Michael, Eugene, and Ryan. Dear great-grandmother to 13 and great-great grandmother to 3.
Born in Losna, Mani, Greece, Aggelo was proud and true to her heritage through and through. She moved to the mainlands to raise and support a beautiful family. She met her husband Michael and together they raised five children, instilling the values of love, family, and faith into each of them. Aggelo had a career as a seamstress for J.L. Hudson’s for many years.
Aggelo loved cooking, baking, gardening, and crocheting. She was happiest when she was feeding her family. While she was fiercely loving and protective of her children, her greatest joy was her grandchildren. She will be greatly missed.
Visiting for Aggelo will be held on Saturday September 18th at 9am until the time of the funeral service at 10:30am at Assumption Greek Orthodox Church, 21800 Marter Rd, St Clair Shores, MI 48080.
