Alexander Walter Mann passed away on February 2, 2022 at the age of 89. He was born on December 16, 1932 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; son of William and Mary Mann.
Mr. Mann received his MBA from the University of Michigan, where he was captain and number 1 singles player in tennis from 1953 to 1954. He was a member of the Phi Gamma Delta Fraternity. He was a proud veteran of the United States Army. Alexander worked for the Ford Motor Credit Company for 25 years. He was a longtime volunteer at Bon Secours and Cottage Hospitals in Grosse Pointe. He loved reading, classical music and world travel. He was an expert in history and WWII military history.
Mr Mann is survived by his daughters Molly Mann (Peter Smith) and Sally Eovaldi; and a sister Rhoda Murphy. He was predeceased by his wife Suzanne, parents and his sister Mary Anne Kozlowski.
