Andrew D. Koziel, 83, of St. Clair Shores, died January 7, 2009. Mr. Koziel was interested in gardening, fishing, and spending time with his grandchildren. He was a longtime member of St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church in Harper Woods, MI. He was the beloved husband of Mary, loving father of David (Cindy) and Michael (Angela), cherished grandfather of Michael and Michelle, brother of Mary Lewis and Stella Krezinski. He was predeceased by many loving siblings. He was a retired Paper Handler of many years for the Detroit News. Visitation will be Saturday 5-9 pm and Sunday 2-9 pm at the A.H. Peters Funeral Home, 20705 Mack Avenue at Vernier Rd, Grosse Pointe Woods. Scripture service Sunday 7:00 pm. Instate Monday 9:00 am until Mass 10:00 am at St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church, 19851 Anita, Harper Woods, MI 48225.
