Andrew Simon was born September 24, 1928 in Cyprus and entered into rest March 26, 2014 in Detroit at the age of 85. He was the loving husband of Katherine and beloved father of Theo (Robert) Banish and Soula Simon. Andrew was the dearest grandfather of Robert and Andrew. Visitation Monday 2:00 pm to 9:00 pm with trisagion at 7:00 pm at the A.H. Peters Funeral Home, 20705 Mack at Vernier Road, Grosse Pointe Woods 48236. Funeral Tuesday at the Assumption Greek Orthodox Church, 21800 Marter Road, St. Clair Shores 48080. Instate Tuesday 9:30 am until time of service 10:00 am with Father Michael Varlamos officiating. Burial will be at Cadillac Memorial Gardens East Cemetery in Clinton Township.
