Ann Joan Rabaut

Ann attended St. Paul’s School and the University of Michigan (48) where she was a Kappa Delta and earned her degree in Dental Hygiene. She continued to work full time as a dental hygienist while raising her daughters.

Ann was an avid athlete and bridge player. She loved to spend time with family and friends at her cottage in Lewiston, Michigan on West Twin Lake.

She was one of the original parishioners at St Peters Catholic Church until it closed, she then transferred to St Joan of Arc Parish.

Ann was blessed with three wonderful daughters, Elizabeth (Gerard) Gauthier, Jo (Mark) Elliott, and Mary (Tony) McRae. She was the cherished grandmother to Kathleen, Joseph (Claire), Peter (Lauren), Matthew (Elisa), Elizabeth, Sara, and Annie. She was the loving great-grandmother to Victoria and Henry. Ann was the dear sister to the late Captain Thomas (the late Iris) Leinweber and the late Roy (Beverly) Leinweber.

Ann will be laid to rest at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Detroit, MI. A Memorial Celebration of Life Mass will be at 10:00 am, on January 30, 2021 at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church in St. Clair Shores.
