Anna L. Valente died on March 11, 2009 at the age 75. Anna was born on January 5, 1934; the daughter of Clemente and Anna D'Amore. Beloved wife of the late Joseph. Loving mother of Dominic (Maryann), Bruno (Mary), Joe, and the late Fred. Cherished grandmother of Kristin, Amanda, Stephanie, and Joey. Sister of Pat (Patricia) D'Amore, Emma (Angelo) Iannicello, and the late Dominic D'Amore. Visitation Saturday 2-9 PM and Sunday 2-7 PM at the A.H. Peters Funeral Home, 20705 Mack Ave. at Vernier Rd., Grosse Pointe Woods. In state Monday 11:30 AM until 12 Noon Mass at St. Basil the Great Church, 22860 Schroeder, Eastpointe.
