Dani, and family I am so sorry to hear of Barb's passing. I followed her progress daily on the website and I prayed that she would beat the cancer and make a full recovery. I will never forget when Barb and John took Dani and I to the U of M vs WMU football game at the big house. It was a beautiful day, lots of fun, and that is how I will remember her.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family, Cathy. I only had the priviledge to meet Barb once on a visit to Florida, but she had the radiance and love that you have described Cathy, and I had so prayed she would win her battle. We can only pray for you and your family now, but keep your memories of Barb close to your heart and remember, even though hard at this time, that Barb is in a perfect body and a perfect place and that we will meet with her once again. May prayer, the closeness of family and friends, and God's grace sustain you and Barb's family during this most difficult time.

Cath and family, wow. I am so very sorry for your loss. Barb had such a great spirit about her and always, ALWAYS so very sweet each time I've seen her. I can't imagine the pain you must be feeling and can only offer my ear and wide open arms to comfort you in any way I can. I know how much you meant to each other. I pray God gives you comfort and fond memories of your Blessed time together and that one day the pain subsides. You, your sisters and her husband did the most amazing job at letting her know how loved she is. She was so very lucky to have you.

Barb touched the hearts of so many people throughout her short life on this earth. I remember her most as a young child. I introduced my sister Marie to her and her family. Because my sister and I where far apart in age, Barb became a surrogate sister to Marie. They where inseparable! Whenever Marie was not around, we always knew where to find her, at Barb's. I will always remember Barb as a sweet, happy go lucky little girl. Now Barb is at peace with the Lord. Her love will always live within our hearts.

We are so very blessed to have known such a wonderful friend. Our sincere condolences to Barb's family and friends. May sweet little Cameron feel the love that surrounds him and believe that a child and his mother will never part, she will always live inside his heart. I knew Barb through her sister Cathy. My heart is heavy with grief. I am comforted to know that she is now in peace. I pray that you feel the love and support that surrounds you and find strength to get you through each day.

I'll cherish my memories of Barb during our childhood and teen years.

To John with Cameron, to Catherine, Lynn, Pamela, Nicole and Danielle, the message about Barbara's death make us very sad. We followed the daily news from Catherine and were always hopeful for a good end. But the fate took his way. We knew the gravity of this illness (Leukaemie); a good friend of us died on it too. Now we must face the facts. Barbara was such a lovely wonderful person. We like to remember, when she and John visited us in Germany during their honeymoon in May 2001. We hope for John and his litte son Cameron that they can go through the difficult time ahead and that they will become glad again one day and always like to look back on Barbara. We are far away but we are feeling with all of you in these serious weeks and months. May it helps you to know that Barbara is now with the Lord and you will reunite one day again. I am so sorry for your loss. Barb was such a wonderful person with a warm heart and smiling eyes. I have a fond memory of Barb on our annual summer canoe trip with friends in Sterling Michigan. Barb and I were canoe partners and we stopped to pick daisies and wore them in our hair. We attracted so many beautiful butterflies that day. I feel fortunate to have shared those moments with Barb, she was truly an amazing person. My heart goes out to her family and friends.

We always enjoyed Barb and John's visits to her sister Cathy's house. She was so much fun and full of life. We will miss her but never forget the good times and her smile.
