PAPA, BARBARA ANN November 13, 2013 Age 87 Beloved wife of the late Annino (Rudy) Papa. Dear mother of Patrick (Linda) Papa, and Ann Marie Papa (Steven Fopma). Loving grandmother of Christopher and Matthew Papa. Dear aunt to many nieces and nephews. Retired secretary at Caine Steel Company of Detroit, In state Monday 9:30 am until time of Mass 10 am at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, 21620 Greater Mack, St. Clair Shores. A rosary will be recited shortly after 9:30 am. Memorial contributions appreciated to Fr. Solanus Casey Guild in care of the Capuchins, 1820 Mt. Elliott, Detroit, MI 48207. Her family remembers her standing before her stove, her dog Cuddles at her feet. Mrs. Papa's family will always remember her culinary talents. The aroma of her fried chicken simmering in hot oil and her fried sauerkraut with spare ribs will linger forever in their memories. Homemade pumpkin pie on Thanksgiving was another specialty. She loved to dote on her family, especially her grandchildren.
