Barbara V. Reid

Life-long Grosse Pointe resident Barbara V. Reid died Tuesday, March 24, 2020. Barbara was a beloved teacher at St. Ambrose and St. Clare of Montefalco schools. Over the years, she was an active parishioner at St. Clare of Montefalco and St. Lucy parishes. Mrs. Reid volunteered at Bon Secours Hospital for over 40 years, and devoted her time to her children, grandchildren and helping others.

Mrs. Reid is pre-deceased by her husband Robert and sisters Patricia Vismara and Mary Lou Kulakowski, and survived by her children, Michael (Rina), Martin (Lorice), Kathleen (David) Lubera, and Kevin; grandchildren Andrew, Haley, Rebecca, Stephen and Arianna; and siblings John (Joan) Vismara and Frances Solomon.

A funeral Mass and memorial service will be scheduled at a later date.

For all who wish to participate, a rosary will be prayed for Barbara Reid at 7PM on Friday, March 27th. Due to COVID-19 concerns, we will be using a teleconference for the rosary.
