Benston D. Harris Sr., age 84 of Sterling Heights, died May 7, 2011. He was born Nov. 12, 1926, in Mt. Airy, North Carolina the son of John and Rina (Holbrook) Harris. He was a retired tool and die maker. He and his wife Patricia were married 60 years and she survives him. Also surviving are his children: Ben (Kim), Kim (Robert) Clark, and Alan (Rene'e). Proud grandfather of Ben, Nicole, Tracy, Ashley, Chelsey, A.J., Heather, and John. Great grandfather of 3.
