
Bernard F. Nanni, age 84, of Chesterfield, died Aug. 16, 2016. He was born Feb. 4, 1932 in Sheboygan, Wisconsin the son of Bernard and Hilda (Persia) Nanni. He was a Korean War Veteran of the United States Air Force and taught at Centerline public schools for 36 years. He was a wrestling coach and football coach at Wolf Middle School, and was involved in youth ministry. He enjoyed woodworking, making bird houses, going to the casino, fishing, and was a member of the Jazz Club. Beloved husband of Pamela; loving father of Jerry (Tracy), Jeanette (Gary) Machowicz, Tommy, Angela (John) Stankrauff, Joseph Bernard Nanni (Jessica), Taylor (Matt) Bruno; step father of Mark (Sarah) Green, and Dawn (Eric) Schaefer; proud grandfather of Ryan, Parker, Colton, Chloe, Zachary, Hadley, Madelyn, Kevin, Erica, Drew, Amanda, and Nicole; dear brother of Jackie, Rayleen and the late Daniel; also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. The family will receive friends Friday 1-9 at A.H. Peters Funeral Home, 32000 Schoenherr at Masonic (13 mile) Warren. Rosary service Friday 7:30 pm at the funeral home.
