Betsy J. Gaetzke

Betsy Jayne Gaetzke, age 69 of Warren, passed away April 25, 2019. She was born in Marietta, Ohio on January 13, 1950; the daughter of Joseph and Kathleen (nee Osborne) Scales. Betsy enjoyed reading, gardening, flowers and simply being outdoors. Most of all, though, Betsy loved to work. She was an Optician for 50 years at Optimeyes in Sterling Heights as well as worked for Samsonite. Betsy spent her life helping others and was always there when needed. Her greatest joy was her granddaughter Liliana, who was the light of her life. Betsy is dearly loved and will be deeply missed. Beloved wife of Michael. Loving mother of Krystal Gaetzke of Clinton Township and Michael Gaetzke of Warren. Proud grandmother of Liliana. Dear sister of Betty Boeshko and half-sister of Helen Eder. A memorial gathering for Betsy will take place on Saturday, May 4th from 2:00 PM until 8:00 PM at A.H. Peters Funeral Home, 32000 Schoenherr at Masonic (13-1/2 Mile) in Warren.
