Dear Debbie, Doug and Richard. We are sad for you that you have lost your Mom to this earth. She is with Jesus which the Bible says "is far better". We know you will miss her so much but you know that she was so much wanting to be relieved of all her suffering to go to God's Paradise & be with Jesus & be reunited with her Melvin. We have this grand Hope of reunion in Heaven. May God comfort each of you. We have such fond memories of both of your parents and many happy times with them. Our thoughts and prayers for God's comfort are with you.

My sincerest condolences Deb, Doug & Richard. Your mom was such a lovely woman. I still remember her smile, laugh & sweet sense of humor. She will be missed here but truly welcomed in Glory.

<3 Another dear saint has entered the presense of Jesus <3 Betty Koenke was a dear friend of my Mom's. It was heart warming to recently see Betty at my Mom's funeral. It was such a joy and privilege to give her a big hug, a hug I will always cherish <3 and confirm the sweet friendship my Mom and her had. She said, "I'm jealous of Rosie!" and now, just one month later, Betty has joined her dear friend Rosie in heaven!! <3 <3 These two who were part of the "Fab Seven" (seven Bethany Baptist Church friends) and spent many a sweet time together!! Both were widowed and longed to see their husbands again and now they are together forever in their eternal home!! Priceless assurance of our destiny as believers!! A good reminder to run well for we shall all be home soon!!

So sorry, Betty will be missed by family and friends.

As I opened Betty's well-used Bible during her last days on earth, I read so many beautiful handwritten notes reflecting the great faith she had. I had to smile when I read, "God loves puny people." You may have been small, Betty, but you had a big heart that worried constantly about all the people you loved. Betty leaves a legacy called "family" and what a beautiful family it is. I hope all of you will never take each other for granted. I am glad I was fortunate enough to develop a close friendship with Betty and I can honestly say I loved her. I feel like I lost a second Mom. Betty is home now and where she wished to be and a piece of her will always remain in my heart. May Mom Betty's precious family find comfort in God's grace and the precious memories that each of you holds.

Always enjoyed Betty's generosity and wisdom, she will be missed.
