Brett Michael Stopinski

Brett Michael Stopinski, age 23, of Harper Woods, Michigan passed away on March 8, 2017. Beloved son of Steve and Michele Stopinski. Dear brother of Brian and Brandon (Alyssa). Loving daddy to Brooklynn. Dear grandson of Ed and Joan Stopinski and the late Edward and Leona Pelak. He is also survived by his aunts and uncles: Joe, Dan, Jason (Amanda), Deb (Dan), and Deanna; and cousins: Chelsea (Sean), Evan (Sarah), Chandler, Carsyn, Colbey, Cheyenne, Adrianna, Brennon, Cruz and Mia. Brett was well known in the community. He played Little League Baseball for Harper Woods for 13 years. Brett had many friends and will always be remembered for his kind heart and generous personality. Brett had a smile that would light up a room! Visitation 2-8 pm Sunday and 4-8 pm Monday at the A. H. Peters Funeral Home, 20705 Mack Avenue at Vernier Road in Grosse Pointe Woods. A scripture service will be held on Monday evening at 7:00 pm. His body will lie instate at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, 21620 Greater Mack at Overlake, St. Clair Shores from 9:30 am Tuesday until mass begins at 10:00 am. Rev. Fr. Joseph Tuskiewicz will officiate. Memorial contributions may be directed to the family.
