

Brian was born in Grosse Pointe, MI on March 4, 1965 to Annabelle and the late Horace Boutell. Brian graduated from Grosse Pointe North High School in 1983 and loved to remind everyone, every chance that he got, that he was part of the State Champion Cross Country Team. His name can still be found on the wall of records in the gym at GPN. He went on to Central Michigan University and was fortunate to make lifelong friends during his time in Mt. Pleasant. He completed his MBA at Wayne State University and enjoyed a long career with Henry Ford Health System. He began his career with HFHS in 1991 as an athletic trainer. After 30 years at HFHS, he was serving as the Director of Ambulatory Regional Operations. Brian was an avid runner and golfer but his true love was his family. He loved his daughters fiercely and was so proud to be a father to his girls. Because of their love of dance, he even performed in many dance recitals with the famous Dancing Dads.Brian is preceded in death by his father, Horace and his infant son, Andrew Wesley.He is survived by his loving daughters, Natalie (16) and Avery (12); his mother Annabelle, brother Jeffrey, niece Courtney, sister Amy, and his former spouse Kristin to whom he was married for 23 years.   Brian leaves his mark as a loyal friend, father, co-worker, and spouse. He will be dearly missed by all who were impacted by his wisdom and love.
There will be a visitation on Thursday, December 10, 2020 from 3:30-8:00pm at A.H. Peters Funeral Home 20705 Mack Avenue, Grosse Pointe Woods.
