Brian George Reisinger

Brian George Reisinger’s sunrise was April 29, 1962 and his sunset was August 10, 2020. He was born in Paris, France to Melvyn George Reisinger, Sr; deceased and Merle Marie (McClain) Reisinger. His brothers Bruce and Melvyn were also born in Paris. His brother Edward was born in Minnesota. He loved to tell of his and his brothers Army brat days; Paris, France, Snelling AFB, MN, Ft Belvoir, VA, Ft Riley, KS, Pusan, Korea Berlin, Germany and his dad retired at Fort Huachuca, Arizona. Brian graduated Bullock Creek High School 1980 went into Army Reserves May 1982 until May 1989.

Graduated Delta college with an Associates Degree in Applied Science -Respiratory Care Program in 1984, was a clinical instructor for the college 1985-1988. He worked around the US; Michigan, Virginia, California and Washington ending his career in Respiratory Therapist and Sleep Technologist at Beaumont Sleep Evaluation Services, St Clair Shores, Michigan.

While surfing the web in 1998 he met Shelia Diane (Rigelman) Reisinger. He quickly fell in love with her and her daughters Deidre Denise Durant, Priscilla Samuela Durant (fiancé John Dickens), and Jalynda Lucille (Reisinger) Wolanin. They married on March 10, 2000. In 2004 he legally adopted Jalynda. Deidre gave him a grandson Da’Shawn David Hannah in 2006 and a granddaughter Donyae LaTreese Poullard in 2007. In 2018 he walked Jalynda down a sandy isle to marry Anthony Wolanin and they just gave him another granddaughter Alaia Mae Wolanin.

He loved playing sports, having pets; from dogs (current Kacy, Pepper and Roz), ferrets, parrots. Listening to all genres of music, going to concerts and watching movies. He loved traveling; cruising or going to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.

He also leaves behind four well loved aunts, many cousins, nephews and nieces along with Sheila’s brothers; Mike (Amy) and Randy (Diana) Rigelman, Anthony Rigelman; deceased (girlfriend Barb Evans).

Viewing Sunday August 16, 2020 1-3; Family hour 1-2 at A.H Peter’s Funeral Home, 32000 Schoenherr Rd, Warren, Michigan 48088. Viewing Monday August 17, 2020 12-3pm at Faith Baptist Church, 26510 Schoenherr Rd, Warren, Michigan 48089. Funeral will be at 3pm followed by a military funeral.
