Carmen "Joe" Vicari

Joe is preceded in death by his beloved wife of 63 years, Mary (Fran) Vicari.

Joe is survived by his loving children, Jennie Awe (the late Dave), Madeline La Pratt (Jeffrey Sr.), Joe Vicari (Mary Jo), Michele Vicari (Bob Lucey); loving grandchildren, Brent Awe (Fallon), Keri Kleiner, Amanda Binnix (Eric), Nikki Abelow (Steve), Jeffrey La Pratt Jr. (Allie), Joseph Vicari, Nick Vicari (Rachael), Kaylee Caswell, Victor Vicari (Billiemarie Stacey), and Elizabeth Schneider (Chad); cherished great-grandchildren, David, Carly, Zoey, Xak, JD, Jackson, Aelin, Colin, Logan, Aubrey, Jace, Nicholas, Juliana, Addison, and Victoria.

Joe worked as an International UAW Representative for Ford Motor Company for 40 years. He loved spending time with his family, and enjoyed hunting, camping, and riding his motorcycle.

A Visitation for Joe will be held on Wednesday, June 10, 2026, from 3PM-8PM, with a Scripture Service at 5PM, at A.H. Peters Funeral Home.

A Funeral Service will be held Thursday, June 11, 2026, at 10AM, with an Instate beginning at 9:00AM, at A.H. Peters Funeral Home, 20705 Mack Ave. Grosse Pointe Woods, MI 48236.
