Carol Ann Dobbs

Born on June 5, 1947, Carol lived a life defined by love, devotion, and kindness. She was the beloved wife of Louis, with whom she shared 57 wonderful years of marriage. Together, they built a beautiful life and family, raising three children: Lisa, Lou (Michelle) and Theresa (Robert). Carol’s greatest joy was being a Nana to her eight cherished grandchildren, whom she adored and doted on: Nicholas, Tyler, Jacob, Adrianna, Gabriella, Noah, Olivia, and Isabella. She also leaves behind many loving brothers and sisters.

Carol was known for her warm heart and her unwavering dedication to her family. She had a passion for reading, gardening, baking, and spending time with those she loved most. Her home was always filled with laughter, love, a hot cup of coffee, and the smell of her famous homemade pies.

Her legacy of love, kindness, and family values will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends.

Visitation will be held Thursday, December 5, from 3-8 pm, A.H. Peters Funeral Home, 20705 Mack Ave., Grosse Pointe Woods. In state Friday, December 6th, from 10:00 am until time of 10:30 am mass at St. Clare of Montefalco Church, 1401 Whittier Road, Grosse Pointe Park.
