Carol Ann Mastrodomenico

Carol Mastrodomenico passed away on July 6th, 2013 at St. John Hospital in Detroit after a courageous battle with Parkinsons Disease. She was born on March 21, 1936 in Detroit; daughter of Xavier and Louise (nee Fasse) Czak. Carol graduated from St. Bernard High School in Detroit in 1954. She maintained relationships with most of her forty person graduating class throughout the years. On October 30, 1965 Carol married Pasquale "Pat" Mastrodomenico at Guardian Angels Church in Detroit. They have resided in Grosse Pointe Woods for the last forty-three years. Mrs. Mastrodomenico worked for Grosse Pointe Woods' City Clerks office for twenty years. She had a creative eye for color. Her landscaped yard was always beautifully maintained and her interior was decorated immaculately. She was a true animal lover and would visit the Humane Society. She loved her pets over the years. Carol is survived by her loving husband Pat. She will be missed by her dear sister Joan Czak and numerous extended family members. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 2:00 until 9:00 pm at A.H. Peters Funeral Home, 20705 Mack Ave., at Vernier Rd., Grosse Pointe Woods. Her funeral will be held at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church 21620 Greater Mack Ave. St. Clair Shores. Instate 9:30 am until time of Mass 10:00 am Thursday.
