Charles Phillip Schmelter II died on Friday, March 30, 2012 at the age of 48. Charles worked in construction, renovation, and was a roofer for over 20 years. He was also a avid fan of the Detroit Lions. Loving father of Shannon Bendler, Samantha Grammatico, and Charles P. Schmelter III. Cherished son of Linda (Robert) and Charles P. Schmelter I. Dearest brother of Margaret Schmelter (Eddie Hakim), Steven Schmelter (Bonnie Froelich), James (Jessica) Schmelter, and the late Robert Schmelter. Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, and cousins. Visitation will be Wednesday, April 4, 2012 from 11:00 am until time of funeral service at 7:00 pm at the A.H. Peters Funeral Home, 32000 Schoenherr Rd. at Masonic, Warren.
