Patty I am thinking of you and the crazy wonderful times we had on Kenmore. I think of Halloween when we were all getting drinks in front of your house and Charlie‘s dad saw the Grosse Pointe news! You are in my prayers I am sure it has been a very rough road. My dad died on November 14 and his birthday is November 30. Needless to say I will always be thinking of you on those dates! We are in Florida I will be praying for you . ✝️

My Dear Stumb Family, Though the years and miles have kept us apart, know that in my heart you all have a piece of my heart. Funny how I can still, after all these years, hear Uncle Charlie laugh. I always feel your love and kindness. Know that you have mine as well. Mom has told me so many wonderful and funny stories that span almost a life time ago. The dinners, Vernier Terrace, the card games, and so so many more. These stories are what keep those memories alive and the people we loved so very real. I am truly saddened by his death and of course your loss. Tom and I pray for you Aunt Patty and the whole family; Buffy, Charlie and all the grandkids and spouses. My deepest sympathy to your entire family and to all who had the opportunity to be a friend of Charlie. Many years back, I worked with Charlie, which on many days was actually more fun than work. Then there were the times we spent with mutual friends at the DAC. BUT, the very best memories were all the Easter Break trips to St. Pete. Beach. What a time we had at the Bon Aire, especially with all the kids. Fortunately for me, because Lori Ann & her family still enjoy Spring Break at the Bon-Aire, I had the chance to catch-up with Patty & Charlie over the last few years. Please know that I, along with so many others, will have all your family in our thoughts and prayers in the days ahead.

Dear Aunt Patty, Buffy and Charlie, I am so sorry to hear about Uncle Charlie. He will always be remembered as the man with the boisterous laugh, bear hugs and kind words. Time and distance have not faded those memories. All of my love are with you at this time.   Love, Darcy
