Chester Selakowski

Chester Selakowski passed away on December 1, 2011 at St. John Hospital in Detroit. He was born on February 10, 1921; son of Joseph and Mary Selakowski. He is survived by his wife Eleanore. He was proud of his children Joseph, James, Robert (Joan), Paula (Joseph) Zuliani, Annette (Sean) Madigan, and the late Lynelle Marie. He adored his grandchildren Joseph, Erika, Luke, and Ella Selakowski; Anthony Zuliana; and Stephen Madigan. Brother in-law of Sarah Selakowski. Brother of the late Leonard (Rose), Arthur (Edna), and Joseph. Visitation Saturday 5:00 - 9:00 pm and Sunday 1:00 - 9:00 pm at A.H. Peters Funeral Home 20705 Mack Ave., at Vernier Rd., Grosse Pointe Woods. A prayer service will be held at 7:00 pm on Sunday. Mr. Selakowski will lie instate on Monday at 9:30 am until the time of the Mass of the Resurrection at 10:00 am at Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church 20955 Bournemouth, Harper Woods. Father William Herman will officiate. Burial at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Detroit.
