Claude Anthony Greiner

Claude Anthony Greiner passed away on October 30, 2025 at the age of 77. He was born in Detroit on April 5, 1948; son of Claude and Constantine Greiner. Mr. Greiner was the co-owner of Verhoven Chevrolet in Detroit.

Claude had many interests and hobbies including bee keeping, collecting coins, fishing, gardening and cooking. He loved going up north and sailing. He raced in numerous Mackinac races with one win. He was hard-working and worked on cars since he was 12 years old.

He is survived by his loving wife Maria. He was proud of his sons Michael and Claude. He will be missed by his brothers Brian (Robin) and Jon Greiner (Karen) and sisters Gretchen Dorian and LaFray Seel. He was the grandfather of Brianna. He leaves behind his cat Buddy. He was predeceased by his parents and brother Chris Greiner (Veronica).

Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 6th from noon until the time of his funeral at 4:00 pm at A.H. Peters Funeral Home, 20705 Mack Ave., Grosse Pointe Woods. He will be entombed at Resurrection Cemetery in Clinton Twp., on Friday at 1:00 pm.
