(Nee Zilinski) July 26, 2011 Age 95 Beloved wife of the late Nicholas Westra, Jr. Dear mother of Joann Johnson, Carole Czapla, Elaine Croy (Jerry), and Janice Primo (the late Ralph). Loving grandmother of Aaron, Keith, Lisa, Nichole and Doug. Great-grandmother of Amelia, Austin, and Kimberly. Funeral Service Sunday 3 pm at the A. H. Peters Funeral Home 20705 Mack Avenue at Vernier Road, Grosse Pointe Woods. Visitation Saturday 2-9 pm. Memorial contributions may be made to Henry Ford Hospice. Mrs. Westra's beloved husband Nicholas Westra Jr. passed away in 1987 after forty-six wonderful years of marriage. She enjoyed travelling, crochet, cooking and playing bingo. Mrs. Westra became very close to her son-in-law, Ralph Primo, who had become her caregiver upon his retirement and before his death last year. The family wishes to give special thanks to caregivers Eleanore Martens, Johanna Barrett, Brenda Vorus, Andrew Werling, Ardy Jones, the staff at Shorepointe, and special friend Rosemary Elias.
