Dino, I can't think of you without smiling. Whether intentionally or just being Dino, you always made me laugh. I have missed you over recent years but I'm certain we'll get together on the other side, you old turd, and you'll grill me some chicken.

Dear Sandy & Yanni: Was pleased to speak to Dino a few months back and refreshed his memories of "the Continentals" in mid 60's when I joined the group at your studio. Dino was fun to be around and I looked forward to our gigs always. His professionalism and love for the music was very contagious and was universally recognized wherever we played.May his memory be eternal.

Our hearts our heavy to hear of the loss of our dear friend. We pray that God will comfort you all during this very difficult time. Also know that you all are in our daily thoughts and prayers.

I was very pleased and honored to get to know the very philosophical side of Dino. I knew Dino since 1973, when I was 15, and his wisdom and advice served me well over the course of my life. Dino had a strong influence on my life and thinking which I am very grateful for, and I still use several "Dinoisms" even today. Dino, of course, was a huge influence on me musically. He inspired me to strive towards greatness musically, and deepened my appreciation for Greek music and Greek musicians in general. Dino gave me my first opportunity to work regularly as a musician, my first opportunity to play a Greek night club, my first opportunity to lead a band, and he opened the doors for me to work the night clubs in Greektown during their heyday. I am thankful that Dino always spoke well of me, which encouraged my acceptance by the Greek community into their inner circle. I loved him very much; we all have to go sometime, I miss him, and I think he has earned a place in heaven where better souls reside. I cannot thank him enough for the contributions he made to my life. Condolences to his family from me and my wife, Kathlynn and as well to all of the other people whose lives he has touched!

All the times we came home from having a band job, Dino would always say "Pray for me Andy" Now where he will be he can pray for me. There is not enough room to write everything on how I feel about Dino and what he really was. Not only my mentor but a wonderful friend to me and my family. Dino, I cant say enough to thank you for all of the great memories of being part of your band, "the Continentals" . Even though we lost touch in recent years, the 100s of gigs that we played created some unforgettable memories for me, my friend. You taught me, you showed me, you influenced me, you were my friend. In 1980, I had just graduated from high school, I met Dino for the first time at his home studio where we immediately talked music. Soon after he became like my older brother, with an accent from Greece. No turning back, he was my employer and friend. He would call me Rico, rolling the "R" off of his tongue, and then in the later years just simply "W". I can still hear him calling my name, dressed in a suit, ready to start another performance, and his easy smile as he walked away. My travels with Dino (Steve and Andy) were priceless. My friends.
