So sorry for your loss, Dan was one of the "good" guys and always gave me a smile when he was here. I will miss him......

Uncle Danny, thank you for the Christmas parties where you let us kids be kids...with the trains in the basement...the rides in your Canary yellow rumble seat! I'm glad you will be with my mom who was taken to serve God! She took your hand and helped you up to the Holy Father...I know she is smiling at everyone letting them know your in good hands. You will be missed...we LOVE YOU

Dear Hilda, and Dan's loving family, Harry and I are sad to hear of your loss. We always enjoyed Dan's company. Even when he became very ill he always tried to make his guests feel at home. We especially enjoyed the tour of his fishing lake in Gladwin and know he enjoyed giving us the grand tour! He had a wonderful sense of humor, even when he wasn't feelig well. We will miss him but will remember the "good times" spent with him. Hilda, you are truly a good example of what a loving wife should be, one who has taken her marriage vows to heart, "In good times and bad, for richer for poorer, in sickness and in health, until death". I am a work colleague of Brad's. Brad and I have talked about Daniel since I was going through cancer treatments as well. I want to send my condolences and prayers for the family.

Laura and I are so sad to hear of Danny's passing. He was a wonderful kid with a great twinkle and more than a little mischief in his crooked smile. His passing brings back lots of wonderful memories in junior and high school. Warmest thoughts. Sharlene (Charly) Vickery and Laura Purdy (Barkovich).

I went to High School with Dan and have seen him at some of the reunions. As it happens at those parties, old memories & funny stories and pictures appear and we all had a few laughs and lots of fun! I will miss Dan's smile, it wasn't often that I remember seeing him when he wasn't smiling! RIP Dan, I'll miss you.

Hilda, It's hard to understand why loved ones are taken from us, but find comfort in knowing you were a SPECIAL part of Danny's well-lived life. When the Lord calls our loved ones home he leaves a gift of memories in exchange. May those happy memories carry you through this sorrowful time. Dear Hilda, Tracy, and Bradley, My deepest sympathies go out to you and the rest of your family. I pray that the Lord, Jesus Christ, gives you strength in the days and weeks to come. I pray that He carries you through the really tough times and gives you peaceful nights rest in Him. He loves you so much. I have such fond memories of Mr. Damron. Whenever I'd be out front doing yard work, he'd always be hollering something at me from accross the street to make me laugh. He would always ask me how I've been bowling, what my scores were, and if I'm beating the men (in my men's league). I also enjoyed just sitting on the front pourch visiting with him (like our whole neighborhood used to do). He was quite the character! :) I have to say, Mr. Damron was quite intimidating to me at times as well. Whenever I would babysit Tracy and Bradley he would come home, put me on the spot, and ask me "What do I owe you?" Here I am half asleep, it's the wee hours of the morning, don't do math easily in my head, feeling awkward about telling him how much money to give me, and he continues by saying, "I'm not going to pay you till you tell me how much." Hilda would then say, "Oh Dan, just pay her so she can go home and go to bed!" (Thanks Hilda!) Even though I didn't see him much these past few years, I'm really going to miss him. He really was a big teddy bear afterall. My thoughts and prayers are with you. Love, Tami
