Davies, David Michael. Age 66. January 26, 2009. Mr. Davies was born March 5, 1942 at Deaconess Hospital in Detroit, to Fredrick and Bernetta Davies. Mr. Davies was employed at General Motors for over thirty years with numerous different specialties and was very active in the UAW. He was a veteran of the Army and was passionate about Corvettes. He will be greatly missed by all that knew him. He leaves behind his mother Bernetta; daughters Charlotte and Priscilla; and grandchildren Fanny, Michael, Fiona, and Myles. His Funeral Service will be held on Saturday at Noon at A.H. Peters Funeral Home 20705 Mack Ave., at Vernier Rd., Grosse Pointe Woods. Visitation will be on Friday from 2:00 until 9:00 PM. Mr. Davies will be buried privately at Maplehill Cemetery in Charlotte, MI. Since Mr. Davies contributed to numerous charities, his family has requested that contributions may be made to the Michigan Humane Society.
