Dennis Michael Roth

Dennis Michael Roth, December 29, 1947 March 9, 2014. Age 66. He is survived by his beloved wife of 38 years, Ann, and four children: Deborah Horen (William), Annette (Stephen Hicks), Robert (Earon) and Daniel (Andrea); 12 grandchildren: William, Chelsea, Daniel, Noelle, Mitchell, Alexander, William, Zachary, Abigail, Lucas, Isabella and Juliette; and 3 great-grandchildren: Wyatt, Autumn and Logan; mother, Elizabeth (Mayotte) Roth, and brother, Jeffrey. He is predeceased by his father, Robert Roth, and his brother, Richard Roth. Dennis worked in the commercial printing industry for over 40 years, in all facets of the industry from bindery work to executive management until his retirement in spring 2013. He was an avid fan of Detroit's professional sports teams, particularly the Detroit Tigers, as well as the Michigan Wolverines. He appreciated live music, was a movie aficionado, and enjoyed water sports, especially swimming and water-skiing. He was a strict and devoted father and a generous and fun grandfather. Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 13, from 2:00 9:00pm at A.H. Peters Funeral Home, 20705 Mack Avenue, Grosse Pointe Woods, MI 48236, with a service to be held at 7:00. In state Friday March 14 11:30 am until time of funeral Mass 12 noon at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, 21620 Greater Mack , St. Clair Shores, MI 48080
