Domenic Anthony Fontana passed away on September 13, 2011 at St. John Hospital and Medical Center in Detroit. He was born on January 27, 1928 in Detroit; son of William and Anna (nee Grillo) Fontana. Mr. Fontana served our country proudly during WWII in the United States Army. He worked as a Milk Man delivering dairy products throughout metro Detroit. He leaves behind his loving wife Dorothy. He was proud of his sons William and Thomas; and daughter Sharon Mullins (Gregory). He adored his grandchildren Amy, Bryan (Amber), and Jeffrey. Visitation will be held on Friday from 2:00 until 9:00 pm at A.H. Peters Funeral Home 20705 Mack Ave., at Vernier Rd., Grosse Pointe Woods. Mr. Fontana's funeral will be held on Saturday at 10:00 am at the funeral home. Monsignor Peter Lentine will officiate. He will be entombed at Mt. Olivet Cemetery after military honors are performed.
