"Donna" Mildred C. Woods

"Donna" Mildred C. Woods, age 78 of Hazel Park, passed away July 29, 2014. She was born in Detroit on July 22, 1936. Donna was a longtime and devoted employee of Chrysler Sterling Stamping. She retired in 2001. Donna, though directionally challenged, is remembered for her extraordinary intelligence and unique sense of humor. She enjoyed reading, knitting, traveling and Bingo. Her greatest loves were her cats, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, whom she adored and always took great care of. Donna is dearly loved and will be deeply missed. Loving mother of Cindy (Richard) Lane, Michael (Janet Leaver) and Michelle (Randy) Steinkamp. Proud grandmother of Craig, Carrie, Stacey, Stephanie, Jessica, Mara, Michael, Maize, Robert, Nicole and the late Chad. Treasured great-grandmother of 6. Dear sister of William "Bill" Huested and Larry Robertson. Cherished aunt of Kathy, Pat and Matthew. Adoring owner of her 2 fur babies, cats; Abby and Bella. Visitation will be held Friday, August 1, 2014 from 2:00pm until 9:00pm at the A.H. Peters Funeral Home, 32000 Schoenherr at Masonic (13-1/2 Mile), Warren. Funeral Saturday, August 2, 2014 at 2:00pm at the funeral home.
