Donna Grace Stiers

Donna Grace Stiers (nee Lonnee), age 85 of Warren, passed away Tuesday, May 20, 2014. She was born in Windsor, Ontario on Thursday, November 22, 1928; the daughter of Noble and Grace (nee Oxley) Lonnee. Donna loved being active. She was a great dancer and in her early years, she loved to square dance the night away in her fun, ruffled dresses. Donna and her husband, Don also enjoyed playing tennis together when the square dance callers became harder to come by. But most of all, Donna cherished her time with her family. She is dearly loved and will be deeply missed. Beloved wife of Donald for 63 years. They were married on Saturday, August 12, 1950. Loving mother of Lonnee (Pamela) and Laura (Joseph) Supinsky. Proud grandmother of Michael, Steven (Shawna), Ashley, Colin, Darren and Corey. Treasured great-grandmother of Raylee, Charlie, Sebastian, Felix and Chase. Dear sister of Fay Buss. Donna is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Visitation will be held Friday, May 23, 2014 from 11:00am until time of service 5:00pm at the A.H. Peters Funeral Home, 32000 Schoenherr at Masonic (13-1/2 Mile), Warren. Rev. William Lawrence will officiate. Memorial contributions may be made to Reverence Hospice or the Alzheimer's Association.
