Doris G. Myers

Doris G. Myers, age 88 of Warren, passed away March 22, 2016. She was born in Detroit on September 6, 1927; the daughter of Henry and Rachel (nee Cunningham) Graviette. Doris worked at Macomb College for 30 dedicated years. She also volunteered at St. John Macomb Hospital and ushered at the Fisher Theater. She enjoyed gardening, stamping and crocheting and loved hummingbirds and penguins. Most of all, she adored spending time with her family. Beloved wife of the late Robert. Loving mother of Randy (Christine) Myers, Tracy (Jerry) Rauch, Lisa (Bill) Gray and the late Terry White. Treasured grandmother of eight and great-grandmother of one. Dear sister of Beverly Ruthenberg. Faithful companion of Toby. Doris was surrounded by an extended family of loving neighbors. Doris' family will receive friends on Friday, March 25th from 2:00pm until 9:00pm at the A.H. Peters Funeral Home, 32000 Schoenherr at Masonic (13-1/2 Mile), Warren. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 26th at 2:00pm at the funeral home. Msgr. Michael Bugarin will officiate. Interment will take place on Monday, March 28th at Cadillac Memorial Gardens East Cemetery in Clinton Township.
