Dorothy Fontana passed away at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit on September 18, 2011. She was born on March 22, 1926 in Detroit; daughter of Nano and Amelia (nee Caterna) Belloni. Mrs. Fonatana was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She was predeceased by her husband Domenic on September 13, 2011. She is survived by her sons William and Thomas, and daughter Sharon Mullins (Gregory). She was proud of her granddaughter Amy, and grandsons Bryan (Amber), and Jeffrey. She leaves behind her sisters Mary and Theresa Belloni, and brother Richard Belloni. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 3:00 - 8:00 pm at A.H. Peters Funeral Home 20705 Mack Ave., at Vernier Rd., Grosse Pointe Woods. Monsignor Peter Lentine will officiate the Funeral Service on Thursday at 10:00 am at the funeral home. Dorothy will be entombed next to her beloved Domenic at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Detroit.
