Dorothy Eleanor Ray

Dorothy E. Ray, age 95 of Harper Woods, passed away March 21, 2015. She was born in Algonac on January 22, 1920; the daughter of Roy and Eleanor Fournier. Beloved wife of the late John for 23 years. Loving mother of Alan (Anna) Ray and Eleanor (Ford) Lamb. Treasured grandmother of Jacob (Cristina) Lamb, Paulette Ray, Nicole (Mike Appino) Lamb, Alan Ray Jr., Rebecca (Brandon) Scheckel and Diana (Zach) Ray-Stuart. Proud great-grandmother of Anthony Appino, Sophia Lamb, Alexa Appino and Jayce Lamb. Dear sister of Charles (Gloria) Fournier and Richard (Marrianne) Fournier and the late Harold (Jane) Fournier, Warren (Merle) Fournier, Jim Fournier, Jack Fournier, Roy (Caroline) Fournier, Betty (Melvin) Lorf, Joan Cronce, Kenneth Fournier and Margie Fournier. Dear sister-in-law of Elaine Fournier and Merril Cronce. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins. Dorothy's family will receive friends Wednesday, March 25, 2014 from 2:00pm until 9:00pm with a scripture service 6:00 PM at A.H. Peters Funeral Home, 32000 Schoenherr at Masonic (13-1/2 Mile), Warren. The funeral service will be held at 10:00am on Thursday, March 26, 2015 at the funeral home.
