Dr. Nirmala Ravi was born July 18, 1938 in Kurnool, India and entered into rest December 30, 2015 in Mt.Clemens At the age of 77. Nirmala was the loving wife of Dr. V.V. Ravi and mother of Rev. Latha Ravi, Dr. Geetha (Dr. Darshan) Thaker. She was the sister of Dr. Mithra (Beulah), Augustine, Dr. Samuel (Dr. Saroja) Jayakar, Dr. Shyamala (Dr. Jaya) Raju, Dr. Sulochana (Arun) Waghmare, Dr. Vasantha (the late Vinod) Kumar and the late Dr. Emmanuel Sunderaj. Visitation Friday 4:oo pm to 8:00 pm at the A.H. Peters Funeral Home, 20705 Mack Avenue at Vernier Road, Grosse Pointe Woods. Funeral Saturday; instate 12:00 noon until time of service 1:00pm at St. Paul's United Methodist Church, 620 Romeo St., Rochester 48307. Pastor David Eardley will be officiating. Burial will be at Mt. Avon Cemetery in Rochester, Michigan.
