Edith Cook

Edith Cook, a long time resident of Harper Woods, passed away peacefully on October 21, 2016. Edith was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and companion. She was an avid gardener and spent many years helping to beautify the city of Harper Woods. In her earlier years, Edith also served as an active member of the Harper Woods Garden Club. She will be dearly missed. Edith was preceded in death by her caring husband Carl. She is survived by her son Roger Cook (Kathleen); her grandchildren Holly (Drew), Kara (Michael), and Erica (Thomas); her two great-grandchildren Nora and Rhett; and her companion Al. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday at 11:00 am at A.H. Peters Funeral Home, 20705 Mack Ave., at Vernier Rd., Grosse Pointe Woods. Her family will receive guests at 10:00 am.
