Elizabeth Julia Pilot was born November 4, 1914 in Fanna Italy and entered into rest January 13, 2013 in Detroit at the age of 98. Elizabeth was the loving wife of Victor and mother to Roy (Nancy), Larry (Lynne), Lenora Pilot-Turner (Mel) Turner, Mark and the late Mary (Ted) Wollesen. She was grandmother of 14 and great-grandmother of 25. Elizabeth loved painting, opera, geneology and walking. She was a volunteer for Bon Secour Hospital for 20 years and worked in hospital administration as well as crocheting lap quilts for AMVETS. Visitation will be Thursday 2:30 pm to 9:00 pm with funeral service 10:00 am Friday at the A.H. Peters Funeral Home, 20705 Mack at Vernier Road, Grosse Pointe Woods 48236 Burial will be at Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
