Elsie R. Moldenhauer, age 90, of Eastpointe, died August 3, 2015 at St John Macomb Hospital, Warren.She was born March 11, 1925 in Germany to the late Karl and Martha (Wrobel) Tripke. Beloved wife of 69 years, Herbert C. Dearest mother of Judy (Rev. Dr. Gilbert) Meilaender, Lucky (Diane), Jeri (Rev. Ronald) Young, and Dawn Slade. Loving and proud grandmother Peter, Ellen, Hannah, Derek, Lisa, Marc, Brent, Chad, Jamie, Tara, Patrick and great-grandmother to Jonathan, Charlotte, Miriam, Veronika, Flora, Nicholas, Nathanael, Luke, Jaden, Stephanie and Tyler. Dear sister of the late Helen Divine and Betty Tripke. Visitation Thursday 2:00pm-9:00pm at A. H. Peters Funeral Home, 32000 Schoenherr, Warren. In state Friday 11:30am until service 12:30 pm at St Peter Ev. Lutheran Church, 23000 Gratiot, Eastpointe. Interment to follow at St Peter Cemetery, Eastpointe.
