Emogene Chaffin, age 83, died peacefully with family and loved ones at her side on August 26 at St John Oakland Macomb Hospital, Warren. She was born March 25, 1928 in Jackson County, Tennessee. She was known as "Ma-Ma" to everyone who knew her. Her family was her life and they will always remember her for her strength. Emogene is survived by her daughters; Connie (the late Jerry) Rowland and Elaine (Dan) Chambers and the late Jeanette. She was a loving grandmother to Jennifer Hill. Visitation Sunday 12Noon until 8 PM at the A.H. Peters Funeral Home, 32000 Schoenherr (at Masonic) Warren. Funeral service Monday 11 AM at the funeral home. Visitation also to be held on Wednesday at the Dyer Funeral Home, 798 S. Willow Avenue, Cookeville, Tennessee. Commital will be at Cookeville City Cemetery.
