

Enrico Trotta, age 92, died on Saturday, February 25, 2017. He was born on May 10, 1924 in Marion County, West Virginia. He is the son of Maria Teresa (nee Liano) and Angelo Trotta. Enrico proudly served during World War II on the USS Louisville CA28 from 1943 until 1946. During those years he saw 52 of his seaman die serving their country. After the war he returned to work at Woodall Industries in Detroit with well over 40 years of work. Enrico was a brilliant man that knew a little about everything. He will be remembered by his many sayings including "don't fall in love of material things" and "if you have your health, you have everything." Enrico is the beloved husband of the late Regina for 42 years; loving Father of Daniel (Roseann) and Anthony (Jeannemarie); and cherished grandfather of Jennifer, Kevin, Anthony, Thomas, and Maria. Brother of Elvida (Angelo) Jacquez and Albert (the late Cindy). He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, and cousins. Visitation will be Wednesday, March 1, 2017 from 2:00 pm until 8:00 pm at the A.H. Peters Funeral Home, 32000 Schoenherr Road at Masonic, Warren. Rosary Wednesday 7:30 pm. Instate Thursday, March 2, 2017 from 9:30 am until time of Mass 10:00 am at St. Mary, Our Lady Queen of Families, St. Clement Church, 25330 Van Dyke Avenue, Center Line. Interment will be in St. Clement Cemetery in Center Line, Michigan. Memorials to Talons Out Honor Flight, PO Box 280, Portage, MI 49024 would be appreciated.
